Our Mission

The Dominican-American Culture Interchange Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit foundation formed to create, promote, and advance public awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the values, benefits and advantages that are being and can be derived and enhanced through the interchange of Dominican and American cultures.

We collaborate with cultural and educational institutions in the Dominican Republic and the United States, providing support to achieve the following objectives:

* Identify and promote interchanges in performing arts (stage, screen, dance and music), in the visual arts (paintings, drawings, and photographs), in art and technology, in environment protection, in English and Spanish composition, history, cultural heritage and natural history.

* Explore and and publicize Dominican American cultural interchanges, including the influence of Spanish, Hispanic, Taino and African culture, through exhibitions, lectures, publications, web sites and all other forms of digital communications.
